“A decent and affordable place to live helps families by freeing them from such physical and mental hardships and placing them on a path of new opportunity. It's my pleasure to move forward the mission of Habitat for Humanity of Kenosha… Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.”

“My heart is really the heart of a server. I love being involved in my community either through church or HFHK. I want what is best for everyone around me, and for them to live to the fullest potential in life. I am so excited to be apart of HFHK and am committed to their Journey for everyone to have a place to call home.”

"After over 30 years in and teaching the "Trades" I knew it was time to give back to my community. HFHK is an extraordinary group of men and women committed to making a difference in Kenosha by providing affordable homes for deserving families. My personal beacon for my life has been Colossians 3: 23-24; whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as if working for the Lord, not for men."

"I have been involved with Habitat from the start of our local affiliate 9 years ago and it has been a very rewarding experience to serve. Since I retired from my real job I have the time to volunteer on the job site several days a week in addition to my administrative responsibilities. Habitat’s noble mission of helping the community in providing affordable housing is a truly life changing endeavor for our homeowners and I am glad I can help with that mission."

"I am a self taught handyman (before YouTube), and enjoy keeping busy.  Being an "empty nester," I decided that it was time to volunteer my skills to Habitat for Humanity. More important than the tasks that I've been assigned so far, are the people at HFHK that I enjoy working with.  The people here make the difference.  I enjoy working at HFHK because I take pride in helping people and teaching them what I know.  I look forward to hopefully a long term relationship and getting to know a lot of new homeowners and volunteers."

"I've been volunteering since 2018 and have worked on six completed homes. I've seen real growth and development in HFH-Kenosha during my time. HFHK has a great group of people involved and the volunteers are increasing and working better all the time. It is a joy and pleasure to see families move into their new homes.  I recommend HFHK to all my friends for volunteering and donating. Join us today."

"I began volunteering for Habitat years ago at company-sponsored build days. Now that I'm retired, I have more time to give back to my own community! I love working at build sites (I'm proficient in grunt work), and I also enjoy working with Angela and other volunteers in the office. You get so much more than you give when you donate your time to Habitat. I've gained new friends, and I am so grateful to be able to meet and work with our amazing homeowners as they realize their dream of owning a home."
